Bimble, or gently stroll, into the rocky intertidal zone and take in the natural environment. These guided walks suit adults and children* who are interested in exploring the beach, and take place at different locations around the island. (*Age restrictions apply to some walks.)

The walks introduce participants to some of the creatures that have adapted to living in and out of the sea, exploring shallow tidal pools around low tide. Jersey has one of the largest tidal ranges in the world, and as the tide falls large areas of the sea bed are exposed, allowing walkers to discover marine life that would otherwise be covered by the sea.

Wellies are recommended, especially during the cooler months. Adult-sized wellies and waterproofs are available free of charge and must be reserved during the booking process. Further information about the walks and bookings is available online.
