Corbiere Lighthouse Adventure
with Jersey Uncovered

A two-hour guided walk across the causeway and up inside Corbière Lighthouse, exploring keepers' lives, maritime history and wartime stories, tides permitting.
Led by a Jersey Uncovered Blue Badge Guide, this journey through history explains the construction of Corbière Lighthouse, a historic monument to maritime safety over the past 150 years. The two-hour tour covers Jersey's maritime history, its characters and its drama, and suits visitors and locals alike. It is a chance to see an iconic landmark up close.
The tour meets at the lower car park of Corbière, followed by a gentle walk along the causeway. Along the way, the guide explains a little of the history of the area, the geology, flora and fauna that surround it, and the role the area played during the Second World War occupation of the island.
Climbing the highly polished brass staircase, guests learn about the lives of the lighthouse keepers of the past, see where they worked and view the 19th-century instruments they used, still in place and gleaming, as if the keepers had stepped out of the room a moment ago.
The dates shown are for reference. Tours run throughout the year, tides permitting. To book, complete the contact form on the Jersey Uncovered website or email info@jerseyuncovered.com.
