Flavours of Jersey: Island Panoramic Tour
with Jersey Uncovered

A private day tour tasting Jersey oysters, gin, cheese and more, with visits to the Victorian Markets, oyster beds and Mont Orgueil Castle.
Jersey Uncovered's 'Flavours of Jersey Island Panoramic Tour' introduces visitors to Jersey's local produce and the diverse tastes that islanders enjoy. A traditional Jersey Wonder, a fresh oyster from Jersey's clean waters, a selection of artisan cheeses, local tomatoes, chocolate made with local products and a taste of locally crafted gin all feature on the tour.
The guide collects guests from their hotel before leading them through Jersey's food and culture. The day begins at the island's Victorian Markets, with their floral displays and colourful fruit and vegetable stalls, where guests are introduced to some of the 'Flavours of Jersey' and a taste of island life.
From the market, a leisurely stroll leads to the Channel Islands Liquor Company, where guests spend an hour sampling its award-winning creations and learning about the local botanicals, traditional production methods and the history behind these island spirits.
After lunch, the tour heads to Jersey's oyster beds. A specialist guide tells the story of the island's oyster industry, past and present, before a return to shore for an oyster tasting at the Seymour Inn, a centuries-old pub full of character.
The afternoon ends with a visit to Mont Orgueil Castle, a 13th-century fortress that has watched over Jersey's shores for more than 800 years.
The private tour offers a way to experience Jersey through its food, heritage and scenery, in some of the island's best-known historic locations.
Private tours only, and advance booking is essential. Dates are available on enquiry.
