Gorey Ghost Walk

with Stroll in Jersey

Gorey Ghost Walk

An evening walking tour through Gorey's cobbled streets and historic landmarks, with an expert storyteller sharing the island's ghost stories and dark legends by candlelight.

Gorey Ghost Walk explores some of Jersey's most haunted historic sites. As the moon rises over Gorey, an expert storyteller leads the group through cobbled streets and centuries-old landmarks, sharing tales of restless spirits, ghostly sightings and dark deeds that linger in the island's memory.

The walk takes in atmospheric lanes, pauses by candlelight at forgotten corners and passes on legends told for generations. It suits ghost-hunting enthusiasts and anyone simply curious about Jersey's spookier side, and is designed to leave walkers enchanted and just a little uneasy.

Route difficulty: the route is fairly arduous, including path and road walking with two uphill stages and one downhill road. Suitable clothing and sturdy footwear are essential. Nordic or walking sticks are recommended but optional. Torches are essential.

Dogs: allowed, but must be kept on a lead at all times and cleaned up after.

Check-in point: the bus shelter opposite The Dolphin Pub.

Check-in time: 7.15pm for a prompt 7.30pm start.

Fees: adults £20.00 (via the ticket link). Under 16s £5.00, cash on the night; the minimum age is 10. Over 65s £5.00, cash on the night. Serving H. M. Forces personnel and veterans go free.
