Empreinte(s) Normande(s)
at Maison de la Normandie et de la Manche

A photographic exhibition tracing a thousand years of Norman influence on Jersey's landscapes, culture and identity, marking the millennium of William the Conqueror's birth.
Empreinte(s) Normande(s) is a photographic exhibition exploring how the Norman legacy continues to shape Jersey, and the island's place in a shared European story, as part of MILLENIUM 2027 – European Year of the Normans.
Bringing together contemporary creativity and historical insight, the exhibition explores the lasting "Norman footprints" left across Jersey's landscapes, culture and identity, through a collection of artistic works and interpretation. Visitors can reflect on how a thousand years of Norman influence can still be seen and felt today.
As Jersey joins communities across Europe in marking the millennium of William the Conqueror's birth, Empreinte(s) Normande(s) offers a fresh perspective on the island's heritage, connecting the past with the present through art, storytelling and shared cultural identity.
More information about the event is available on the organisers' website.
