Your Ghost Stories at Hamptonne

Half-term storytelling and creative writing workshops with a resident ghost writer, plus a ghost story competition for under 12s and over 12s.
Hamptonne invites visitors into its spooky world this half term to let their imagination run wild and create their very own ghost story.
The resident ghost writer is running special storytelling and creative writing workshops, offering tips and inspiration to help bring a spooky tale to life. Once a story is written, writers can enter the Ghost Story Writing Competition. Stories should be no more than 1,000 words, and there are two age categories: under 12s, and age 12 and over. Entry is £2 per story, and forms are available at all Jersey Heritage sites. The closing date for entries is 14 November 2026.
